Acupuncture
Dr. Christy
Life Cultivating Life is my clinical practice of “naturopathic acupuncture,” a term I am trying out to describe my integration of 29 years of training and practice in two different but complementary models of whole-person healthcare: Naturopathic Medicine and Chinese Medicine. Both approaches have in common the aim of helping you to be healthier at every level, and to feel well, pain-free, and more at home in your own life.
I currently work with adults and teens to alleviate pain of all kinds, the effects of stress and anxiety, sleep disorders and fatigue, as well to normalize other systemic dysfunctions including digestive, lung and sinus, menstrual and other gynecological ailments.
My primary therapies are acupuncture deeply informed by naturopathic principles, and gentle ongoing coaching in healthy lifestyle choices and changes. Secondarily, I also combine Western and classical Chinese herbal medicine with dietary and digestive support, relaxation and meditative practices, and classical homeopathy.
My aspiration as a practitioner, drawing from the "inner tradition" of Chinese medicine, is to be a vessel for "life to cultivate life": to ease suffering, foster vitality and longevity, and to support the development of wisdom.
Hours: Dr. Christy is in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10-6.
